Slippery Wood Floors Create Problems
One of the worst things that you could possibly happen
anywhere is a slippery wood floor. It's almost like an accident waiting
to happen and I see it often in my journeys as a construction contractor
take me to other peoples houses within my area.
What would I consider a slippery wood floor to be? Any floor that is
slippery. When you're walking on this type of wood floor with tennis
shoes or another type of shoe that provides you with a good connection
to the floor, I wouldn't consider this to be that big of a problem,
until you remove your shoes and start walking around with some nice soft
socks on.
I honestly cannot tell you how many times I have slipped on flooring
made of tile, wood, laminate, linoleum and even concrete. It's hard
enough to walk on some flooring surfaces, without worrying about whether
or not you're going to slip and fall. There is no need to have materials
like these installed in your home, simply to impress your friends and
family.
If you're thinking about purchasing a home with a slippery wood floor,
it wouldn't be a bad idea to find out how slippery this floor actually
is. How you do that, I'm going to leave up to you. If you have problems
right now walking around your office or even your residence, you know
what I'm talking about. Don't make this problem any worse than it
already is by installing something that might be extremely difficult to
walk on
I don't care whether you're installing wood flooring or ceramic tile,
spend some time doing a little research to make sure that you're not
going to have problems in the future with these products.
