Remodeling Contractor Becomes Multimillionaire

I don't know if you have ever noticed or not, but there are very few contractors that are billionaires but there are some that are millionaires. I would like to share a story with you about a remodeling contractor who became a multimillionaire, by working hard and investing wisely.

The contractor's name is Ted and he started remodeling after World War II in the late 1940s. Ted didn't know anything about remodeling, but had a job during the war, making repairs and maintaining military complexes. Ted was a fast learner and loved working with his hands, so he chose to become a remodeling contractor and never looked back or thought twice about it ever again.

Ted obviously went through some tough times but saved his money during the good times. This allowed him and his family to get through the hard economic times that seemed to happen in the United States every once in a while. It wasn't long before Ted started building homes and acquiring rental properties.

Ultimately these two things created more money for Ted than he could ever spend or even thought to be possible. Ted finally became a multimillionaire in the 1980s, 40 years after he started his remodeling business. He did make all of this money remodeling homes, as a matter of fact, he made most of his money on the homes that he owned as real estate prices increased over the years.

I wrote this article, because I would like for remodeling contractors all over the United States to know that it's possible to make a lot of money in the remodeling business, but you're going to need to diversify. You need to figure out like Ted figured out a way to make more money through investing.

If you're in the remodeling business right now and are seriously thinking about making more money, I suggest that you start educating yourself about real estate, home mortgages and stock market speculation with building products.

Education is going to be your key to making more money. You must continue to educate yourself about the home remodeling business, current trends and most important of all, how to invest your money to maximize profits.
